For all ages! Pancake performance! With their latest creation, Okidok returns to pure clownish work. They play without words, but focus all the more on their expressive body language and the typical, clownish aesthetic. The cart with which the two clowns are traveling should protect them and offer them shelter. However, it puts them to the test: it rocks, it sways, it mows them down, and kicks them out. The solid ground seems to be constantly slipping away from under their feet. Despite everything, the duo tries to stay upright and get the cart back in balance so that they can continue their journey after all. The clowns hold up a mirror to us: through their attempts, they show us our human vulnerability and the absurdity of our existence. An existentialist, but also tragicomic situation in a Beckettian atmosphere, in which two socially maladjusted individuals are mainly dependent on each other. Okidok has been among the top international humorous circus acts for years. With their first creation, ‘HA HA HA’, this Walloon duo immediately managed to distinguish themselves. With ‘Slips Inside’ and ‘Les Chevaliers’, they continue their clownish work. With their sophisticated body language in combination with flawless timing, they bring visual humor of the highest order.
