On November 19, the Belgian, psychedelic post-metal collective Psychonaut will land in the Vooruit in Ghent. The traditional three-piece formation has long proven to possess compositional ingenuity, a compelling depth, and a crushing live presence. With this, they operate at the forefront of groundbreaking, contemporary heavy music. After previous shockwaves through the post-metal and prog scenes and passages at major festivals, they now return to the venue with their latest work. This concert is dedicated to their new album World Maker, a record born from immense joy and at the same time profound loss. The band burns away the philosophical complexity of the past with a searing, panoramic clarity that begs us to cherish the beauty of the now.
