Jef Neve solo - Key Energy (Gent)

Jef Neve solo concert – Key Energy 📍 Location: Ghent (Coleta Church) 📅 Date: November 24 & 25, 2026 After 25 years on international concert stages, pianist and composer Jef Neve returns to the essence. Met Key Energy not only looks back on an impressive career, but at the same time opens a new chapter. Countless concerts, encounters, and cultural cross-pollinations inspired him to create an album that sounds more personal than ever before. Key Energy is Jef Neves second solo album following the album One released in 2014. On his new record, he lets the piano speak entirely for itself. Without words, without frills, but pure, direct, and honest. The album feels like an invitation to look inside the world of Jef Neve himself. Over Key Energy he says: “With this album, I try to be genuinely open toward myself and the listeners. And besides that, I also want to share the following message: “We are all okay! We are all doing our best, and even if that doesn't work out, that's just fine too. Keep believing in the light, in positivity, in genuine love, work on yourself, let go of the reins a bit sometimes, and give to the people around you what you would love to receive back yourself.” The eleven compositions go back to fantasies, memories, and dream images that are difficult to put into words. By combining melody, harmonic colors, and emotional depth, Jef Neve lets each composition tell its own story. Prepare yourself for an immersive evening in which music, and Jef alone at his piano, without words, say more than ever.
