Tonight, Mael, Kadija, and Sonik have an appointment near the Canal bridge. Tonight, they sneak into the dark and will paste their rage on the walls. In black and red letters, they form sentences that denounce, give hope, make visible the injustices experienced, and exorcise their pain. Moved by an anger that makes them stronger, their resistant bodies run, climb walls, empower themselves until the anger turns into joy… The joy of resisting, of acting, of saying, and of being together. The joy of collectively refusing the paths traced for centuries to invent others, freer, fairer. Puissant·es is a luminous and combative narrative. By leading us on the trail of these young contemporary heroes, the show infiltrates the breaches of our era, questions our hopes and our indignations, and invites us to use our rage as a motor to put ourselves, too, into action.
