Qi-gong and Taiji are slow and conscious movements from Chinese movement theory. They promote body and self-awareness, balanced alignment, grounding, and a sense of connection with one's own body and environment. The focus is on guiding standing and walking meditation. Marita supports you in finding a balanced alignment that you can take into daily life. Over Marita Schwanke: While teaching, I integrate insights from other mindful movement techniques such as Fasciatherapy, Ideokinesis, and Body-Mind Centering — practices I have come to know and continue to research in my artistic work as a dancer and choreographer. These practices have since become an essential part of my life. What inspires me most is the quality of movement – its naturalness, effortlessness, and fullness.
