Harry Lehman (John Turturro, Barton Fink) is the last pickpocket of New York. Once upon a time, his nimble fingers and flawless street knowledge made him a master of his craft, but in a world of bank cards, smartphones, and digital payments, there is less and less to be reaped for an old-fashioned pickpocket. Until one night he steals a mysterious USB stick and sells it for a fortune. However, the stick turns out to belong to a ruthless crime family that wants it back at all costs. Harry has only a few hours to find it again. What follows is not only an exciting journey through the five boroughs of New York, but also a melancholic ode to a city and a way of life that is slowly disappearing.
John Turturro shines as an analog man trying to find his place in a world that has overtaken him. Regisseur Noah Segan turns it into an atmospheric New Yorkse crime fable, featuring not only Turturro but also Steve Buscemi (Fargo) and Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad).
