Wild Horse Nine

Shortly before the coup in Chile in 1973, CIA agents Chris (John Malkovich) and Lee (Sam Rockwell) are sent to Easter Island by their boss MJ (Steve Buscemi). They are confronted with their dark past. Wanneer Chris builds a bond with two rebellious students, threatening to completely turn their stay upside down. A pitch-black, absurd, and at times surprisingly touching trip to the end of the world. Na Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri and The Banshees of Inisherin, Martin McDonagh returns with his signature mix of razor-sharp dialogue, black humor, and clashing characters. Behind the absurdist buddy comedy hides this time a dark story about guilt, responsibility, and American interference in Chilean history. John Malkovich (Being John Malkovich) and Sam Rockwell (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri) form a wonderful duo, alongside Steve Buscemi (Fargo), Parker Posey (The White Lotus) and Tom Waits.
