Patches is Lotte Lauwers, a Belgian artist with Bruges roots who mixes art pop with sultry vocals and cinematic tension. Think of the raw intensity of PJ Harvey, but wrapped in a dreamy mist of melancholy, innocence, and sensuality à la Lana Del Rey. Her unique, whispering voice and strong visual appearance make her an intriguing appearance. Patches already impressed as a finalist of Sound Track and was the support act for Sylvie Kreusch, Thomas Azier, and Roufaida here in Cactus Ca fé. In addition, she could be seen at Cactusfestival as a keyboardist and backing vocalist for Porcelain id. In the autumn of 2026, Patches will release her first record ‘Pickery Performance’, which was created after a deep personal crisis. On ‘Pickery Performance’, Patches’s youthful naivety gets a reality check and makes way for a cautious belief in the future. First singles ‘Get Back’ and ‘Asking For A Friend’ already taste like more. Patches presents ‘Pickery Performance’ in Cactus Caf on November 25.
